Logging in very quickly because I need to let this out somewhere. I downloaded the DVD of Budokan concert. Not exactly the one izumi wrote above because I found one with a smaller size > nyaa.si/view/990784I have just played the video and arrived at Spica when the lights go up and I can see Aimer very clearly. I'm overwhelmed with feelings, as silly as it sounds. The stage is very simple but beautiful, everyone is playing with smiles, and Aimer looks like she's enjoying herself so much, waving to the audience, jumping at the beats. I'm very happy. I will stop here for now because I want to connect the laptop to my sound system and play the music loudly for everyone to hear Aimer's music. Full report coming soon. I've finished watching! What. a. performance. Congratulations wildthing for being able to see this live. I can't imagine how I'd feel if I were there because just watching from my laptop screen already makes me so happy and proud of her, haha. The blanc session was fun and bright. I liked how she starts with her usual style: minimal lights, hidden from the audience, with only her voice filling the air. Then BAM, lights went in and everyone could see her, smiling and jumping and waving around. She turned around to see everyone, she walked around the stage, owning it and reaching out to the audience. That noir session! Oh gosh! I think Seasonreaper would be very proud watching Aimer performed us so amazingly like that. It was perfect. I'm not a big fan of the song but it was executed perfectly. Aimer was so powerful, hitting the notes right although the variation was hard to handle, and just blended so well. I teared up at the end when she said how Budokan was her dream stage and said thank you repeatedly to the audience. And as if it were not enough, we had the encore. Just wonderful. ONE especially made me happy with the power, connection to audience, and just shone together as an idol and the fans. She closed the stage exactly like how she started: back to the dim lights, her usual chair, singing from the shadows with all her heart. Perfect. It's just perfect. I'd love to see her return someday. I did wonder why she touched her neck quite often, especially in the blanc session. I wonder if her throat hurt because she sang so much. ONE is really amazing live. While I do love her dim light concept, seeing her in the light is much better imo |

And you can feel the happiness in her voice during the MC parts. The encore! It looked fun. Aimer jumping and running around the stage is a bonus haha |

janerudesu Yeah! She talks more shortly in low voice in Noir session compared to Blanc, but she returns to the cheerful self for the encore. It's kind of fun to see her playing the theme. Oh, can we also talk about the dresses? LOL Her jumps are cute, it's small and always happen at the end of the song together with the drum's final beat. XD

It's on Youtube! Definitely keep your eyes on that channel. They have many Aimer songs, but I'm mostly grateful that they took their time to upload some official videos with the most correct subtitle out there. It's very pleasant to listen to a Japanese song while understanding what it tries to convey.  |
