Hello everyone and this beautiful world, I'm Roz, a 17 year old singer and fan of Aimer from Singapore.
I first heard of her music from searching the webs of her collaboration with Taka (ONE OK ROCK). From there on I started listening to the Daydream album, and eventually I started listening to all her other albums and singles and that's how it started out.
Aimer's music has helped to change my personality and inspired me to make music like hers, one that can captivate hearts and inspire many others.
Her music has helped me to appreciate the world for all the little things more as well as the beautiful surroundings around me when I look out.
My favourite songs from her are too many, but if I were to name five, it would be StarRingChild, RE:I AM, After Rain, tone and AM02:00.
I am thankful for Aimer and her music. I hope to get well with all the fellow fans!

Roz Hello to you! Thanks a lot for joining us and welcome aboard. That's quite a nice entry to Aimer in my opinion. Did you check the collaboration because of OOR? Wow, you are also a musician? That's really cool! What kind of music do you make?

Migi Yes I did check it out because of OOR, mainly because I'm originally an OOR fan. But once I got deeper into Aimer's music, Aimer is number one for me now hahah. And to clarify, I'm not a musician yet since I am still a student going to college but I am an aspiring singer. I planned to do something unique like Aimer's music in the future, but of course eventually I need to find a true genre that fits my own voice. With inspirations from both Aimer and OOR, I hope to do some good to the industry and inspire others just like how I was inspired! 😁

Roz Haha, no problem! OOR can be the #1 band and Aimer can be the #1 female singer. <3 I feel like I have too many #1's for it to keep its special meaning lol! What other singers (and genre?) do you like? That's still wonderful. I mean you are planning to pursue the music career sometime later, right? I used to sing in choir in high school and first years of uni, but has since stopped. I missed those days when I was really involved in music haha. Now I'm more a (passive) listener.

Migi Hahah yes, OOR is my no. 1 band, Taka can be my no. 1 male singer and Aimer can be my no. 1 female singer 🤣 I admit that I usually listen to a few playlist that has only Aimer and another one for OOR 🤣 Other artists that I occasionally listen to would be Kenshi Yonezu, amazarashi, UVERworld, SPYAIR, GARNiDELiA, LiSA, EGOIST, MY FIRST STORY, frediric and much more. Sometimes I listen to utaite songs as well. I mainly started off listening to only J-Rock. Eventually as time went by, I learnt to listen to other more popular genres like K-pop and more English music, which broadened me to more types of songs! And yes, I do plan to start a music career later on, starting off with a course called Sonic Arts! That would teach me more on how to be a musician and if I could afford it, I would try to go to Arts schools as well. (Even if I'm poor)

Roz No worries, me too. I could listen to some specific song(s) for days on repeat so many times a day. When I get sick of the same songs, I'll stop for a while but I always return again someday lol. Some familiar names there ( Westkana and janerudesu are also fans of MFS). I think I only listen to UVERworld's anime OST though. The course name 'Sonic Arts' is really cool though, lol! It sounds like you're studying some kind of magic to make you as fast as the wind lmao. Do you have a major in your current college? (Sorry if I misunderstood the education system there.)

Migi Hahah , for me I have a playlist with 60 of the best Aimer songs that I like which I set on shuffle . Most of the time i can finish the whole playlist for the day when I go to school and come back to school (it takes roughly 2 hours to get to my school and as well as going back) As for the education system in Singapore , it's understandable that people of other countries wouldn't understand how it works because it's soooo complicated. This photo below is basically a summary of all possible education pathways in Singapore . Starting off ,I could only go to Institute of Technical Education (ITE). Unfortunately there are no related music courses , so my current major which is the most related to an arts course is Digital Audio & Video Production (a film course ). My plan for after ITE would be going to Polytechnic , where Sonic Arts is . And hahah yeah it sound like some speed magic or something 🤣. From there ,I would learn all the music related things and while if I can't instantly be a musician, I can be a Sound Engineer and work my way up . Of course it's a long journey ahead , spending a total of 5-6 years of education , plus having to serve 2 years of National Service (army/police/firefighter) after . It's going to take me 8 years before I can even begin on properly starting a music career. But it's because of that long time frame that I can use that time to train my voice , learn all the music fundamentals and start off with a bang ! As a 17 year old, now is a great time to train to my best potential!

Welcome to Brave Shine!
I'm also wanting to go into the music field, but for composition. I can't really say I'm studying it though because most of my "studies" have consisted of watching music theory videos on YouTube and also trial by error XD. Plus I'm only in high school, so... *shrug*.
We seem to have similar music tastes, I've listened to almost all the artists you listed, like MY FIRST STORY (as Migi mentioned), GARNiDELiA, LiSA, ONE OK ROCK, SPYAIR and UVERworld XD

Roz That is so complicated. @_@ I'm actually laughing at how one in secondary level says "express" but it still takes 6 years like others, lol. That's the maximum number of years, though(?). I assume you are still in the secondary level then. Yeah, still a long way to go, but at least you have the years ahead of you. Plan it out well and you may be able to just do it! Maybe Westkana can even compose a music so both of you can train together, hohoho.

Westkana thank you! Hahah at least you're starting somewhere with music theory and a lot of trial and error. And great that you listen to the artists I listen! Migi Nah, then express usually is 4 years, 5-6 apply to those that sign up for it. I just finished my secondary level last year and only this year I just started my ITE! And sure me and Westkana could collaborate sometime if possible
