Your favorite Aimer collaborations

Which ones are your favorites? The first one has to be this unofficial duet of Aimer and Kalafina. I only recorded one when they sang together for Anisong Fantasy Live Vol. 1 even though they sang 2 songs. It was wonderful and made me hope for an official duet soon! I wish that they will get to collaborate officially for the next HF movie. Hope the agency problems that Yuki Kajiura and Kalafina are currently facing gets resolved soon. As for my favorite I really love ninelie with EGOIST and Hiroyuki Sawano and of course with TAKA of OOR (Oops my bias is showing lol). Stars in the rain is one of my favorite non tie up song of Aimer.

It feels natural for Kaijura Yuki to one day composes a song for both of them together singing at once, haha. Yeah, I do hope it gets resolved quickly and cleanly. Looks like it's still rumors/speculations at this stage, so I hope it will work out okay. As much as I love Taka as a singer and lyricist, I haven't really found a song he composed that I loved to death in the first try. Stars in the Rain is a beautiful song and it ends up being one of my favorites now. But the first time I heard it, I was very excited because Taka composed it, but I found myself rather disappointed because I didn't find the climax I wanted.

And if possible, I'd like Aimer to do all the theme songs for HF trilogy. I mean the author of Fate himself praised Brave Shine and LAST STARDUST, so why not? XD We are the same. Took awhile before I liked insane dream. Also, I'll be forever sad that we might never see the Heartache duet from one of OOR's live haha. Ohh and I forgot to mention Kataomoi, I'm actually starting to like this song more than Stars in the rain lol

Looking at Kajiura Yuki handled the music since the era of UBW (Madoka Magica also worked with her since the first time up to the latest third movie), they probably won't change ship anymore. That duet will probably kill me, lol. I've seen both performed the song live separately and I was moved, so I can only imagine what I'll turn into if both perform together, lol. Kataomoi is absolute favorite! My friend said it sounds like Justin Bieber's Love Yourself, which I can understand why, but I like this one better. I didn't know about androp or the collaborator previously, but it's a work well done! <3

It does sound alike now that you've mentioned it. But yeah I agree Kataomoi is a lot better (oops here goes my bias again) The lyrics is quite creative too.

I think Kataomoi's lyric is similar to how Aimer writes her own songs. The music is also simple, so the lyric stands out more and Aimer is also comfortable with it.

She sounded really good in that, especially when she was singing with Keiko I'd like to see her working with Chelly again, like in Ninelie. Chelly has a really pretty voice and they sounded really good together. I'd also like to see another duet with Mao Abe, like in For Lonely! I've always liked that song.

You can hear her voice clearly when she sings, but the Kalafina girls overpower her when they sing together, haha. I think Aimer's voice style is rather similar with Keiko when she's singing with the other girls. Their voices are darker, thicker, giving foundation to the song. And I absolutely adore both. <3 Ninelie was a sweet surprise. At a point, I liked Aimer and I liked EGOIST, but I never thought about them collaborating. But then it just happened, under Hiroyuki Sawano, and the song was so beautiful. I didn't know I need it, lol! Totally agree with you on that one. Mao Abe, on the other hand, is unknown to me until she works with Aimer, lol.
