Interesting title, no? The new single "Ref:rain" will be released on February 21st, 2018. Based on the info we see on her official website, the single will contain 4 songs. The first song is titled "Ref:rain", while the other songs are still hidden. It is going to be the soundtrack of an anime titled "恋は雨上がりのように" (Koi wa Ameagari no You ni / Love is Like After the Rain / After Rain). You can listen to a portion of the song from the anime's teaser video:

Of course, when you're talking about rain, you can't have anyone else to sing a song for it but Aimer.
Too short to judge, but I like what I hear. It's the type of ballad that suits her and the rain most. Can't wait to hear the full song and the anime.
Is that Hanazawa Kana's voice, btw?

rain again.... and the planet cries again....
rain is such a mystic theme, specially in japan - did you know that japanese language has more than 100 ways to difine rain - sweet, is it not?? very beatiful; there's: red rain, green rain, pale and black rain (from the hiroshima bombing), summer rain, ice-rain, etc., and so on.
no wonder artists inspire themselves onto this; snow as well.
looking forward to the anime.

tsubagakure That's an interesting info! No wonder Japan is my #1 favorite country. I'm bound to love a country that loves rain so much since I also feel the same about rain. <3 I haven't read what the anime is about, but it's definitely on my radar thanks to Aimer.

i feel the same - if i could have one wish granted i would choose to be reborn in Japan, so i could live that wonderful life. i would go for Kyoto, perhaps. or Kumano Kodo. if you don't know, go check it out - it's, supposedly, the birthplace of the country. such beautiful pilgramages and it is UNESCO recognized.
no wonder you're a star, migi-san, in the wondrous rain...

angelbeat Thanks for copying the lyrics here  My Japanese is as good as Google Translate, though. Maybe wildthing can help us a bit here, if possible? I like the "you're the part of me" part. And "mada tarinakute" should mean "it's not yet enough", as far as I know.

Definitely going to order from CD Japan, ~25 bucks isn't too bad every once in a while (she and Kalafina are the only singers I'll break my wallet out for the shipping fees atm lol.) I hope I can get an ad poster like with Hana no Uta The anime looks interesting, though! Nice visuals |

rina The price is pretty normal I guess, but you're right the shipping cost is the true evil, lol. I actually pray that she will start to care about streaming platforms. I'm on Spotify and the new songs from Blanc and Noir are not even available. I can understand if she wants to focus on physical CDs, but I'm a bit annoyed that Spotify doesn't have her full discography, haha. Looks like there is no official illustration released for the album. I hope you'll get one with Aimer and one with the anime character as beautifully made as the ONE/Hana no Uta album! It will be a blast to put it in your room, haha. I don't even know what the anime is about, I'm just excited to hear a new song by her.
