Hi, I'm Angel and I'm addicted to Japanese covers, so brace yourself for a very long post. I hope it helps (?) in some way.  When the singer is female, I always try to find the male version and vice versa! Migi I'm subscribed to Kobasolo and I ADORE Lefty. She has a cute voice that's not as flat as YUI who has no vibrato. Chouchou Musubi: (not a fan of Goose House because they're doing live streaming that makes their voice echo too much. I want to hear their studio vocal like Hikaru Nara  ) (I found this girl on my recommendation and she's adorable) Everlasting Snow: Hoshikuzu Venus: Kataomoi: (a very handsome lad, please marry me)One: I'm not a fan of this guy cause his voice sounds off-key, but maybe you will: 1. NO ONE COVERS POLARIS, MY FAV SONG WTF. 2. There aren't many good singers who cover Aimer, sadly. 3. Now my only wish is for Konamill to sing her songs so I can rest in peace. 4. Reon Lee's good too. Her tone is common unlike Aimer's, but idk I like her bearing. |

Westkana It is the right place, yep! A wonderful cover indeed. I'm amazed that the team actually put together their own version of the instrumentals for this cover. I thought they could just remove the vocal from the original one and use that while recording their own voice. Facebook/Twitter/Instagram posts are automatically embedded, but videos and images won't. In that case, you have to use the appropriate BBcodes. Add at the end of it. For images, replace the word video with img. Give it a try, I hope this helps.

Me several months ago: I wish a guy would cover Polaris, an acoustic one would be amazing... It's my favorite song from Aimer, but it's not as popular as the others...

Angel I've just watched the two videos you just posted! I'm interested to hear more about males covering Aimer's songs. I don't know, they always feel somehow feminine, but these two videos are doing pretty great. The English version of ref:rain is pretty good! Haha. The one who sings Polaris is good, but I'm not really sold on the backing guitar.

Angel LOL I'm pretty sure I made the wrong impression with that sentence. By 'they', I was referring to Aimer's songs. I meant to say that Aimer's songs feel like they are made for girls and are meant to be sung by girls. That's why I find the male covers interesting.
