For me, sometimes it is hard to find Aimer on youtube, as many of her videos are blocked in the U.S. Sometimes while working on homework, I listen to these alternatives! |

kyuri I moved your thread here, it's just more appropriate.  Yeah, her YouTube channel is only accessible from Japan. I have to turn on my VPN and set it to Japan to get the videos. Thank goodness the covers are great, muahaha! I absolutely loved it when Goose house covered her song. My favorite singers singing each other's song is adorable! <3

I've just listened to the cover for Stars in the Rain. It's really good! They covered everything, including the instruments too.
I think Japanese songs in general are not easy to sing along with. Some of Aimer's songs are also tough to handle. These people are so talented.

so, you all heard Aimer's covers, right? how about other artists (and non-artists) covering Aimer? the first that comes in mind is Suzuhana Yuko (WagakkiBand), in her solo Album Cradle of Eternity i apologize, for i couldn't find the whole song. maybe you can help me w/ this one - though i found this: i doubt that this really happened (migi can say it better than anyone here), for i had no word of it, but, nonetheless, if it's only an edited fan based song, it's quite awesome, don't you think? so, what other people do you know that tried to live up the Aimer dream? plus, i found this, hope you enjoy: www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLXcigRBw9LFITlPKQrmxUH2SzIDlyNS0b |

tsubagakure Why "Migi can say it better than anyone"? XD But I listened to the second video you posted and it's too strange for two singers to have a duet and not have a single line where they sing together. I checked that Aimer never had an official collaboration with Yuko. The owner of the video also said that it's an edit he/she made on his/her own. But a very cool one, no? Makes me wish for a real collaboration of the two someday. They have completely different vocal ranges and colors, so it's going to be an amazing ride!

hihi... well, you know. you're the biggest, brighter star in Brave-Shine, so...
i agree, it would be a wonderful ride. Yuko and Aimer, two completely vocal worlds.
i thought so, an edit, in deed. a stupendous one, in fact.
i would also love to watch/hear Mika Kobayashi and Aimer together, in one of Sawano's songs - what do you think about that?

tsubagakure Aw, you, I'm really not that bright, lol. Yeah, I think it would be great to have Hiroyuki Sawano's vocalists to sing together in a song more often than a solo. I know it happens sometimes, but not that much, haha. Something like this more often is always welcomed: I don't have a particular artist in mind I want to cover Aimer's songs. I'm never a big fan of cover songs or remake songs, I don't even know exactly why. It's a fun thing to do once in a while, but I'm looking for more original songs with the unique style of each artist, Aimer included.
