What did you see? Let's talk about the current box office hits!
Well, I'm pretty late, but I saw The Greatest Showman a while back. Awesomeness. I like it when musicals do their music right because that's what really matters. Been playing the songs for days!

I am not sure whether you mean the cinema or like actual theaters, but last time I went to the cinema was for the recent Christie's adaptation of Murder on the Orient Express; I found it satisfying and not much of a traitor to the book :3 Last time I went to an actual theater tho was for a Classical Music concert at the local Opera House. (I like dressing up in tuxedos and such :3)

shiroraven I meant the cinema, but we can also include actual theaters in this discussion. Both are fine for me. I think you are one of the rare people who feel okay with the new Murder on the Orient Express. I was originally very excited to watch the movie, but then my friends got disappointed when they watched it so I eventually skipped it. Wasn't it boring? I saw The Commuter starring Liam Neeson yesterday. Not a bad movie, but that ending kinda annoyed me.

I didn't watch anything for Liam Neeson since Taken 3 XD Murder on the Orient Express can be considered a little boring, but that's to be expected, it's an adaptation of a Christie's novel, which I consider to be low-key, unlike the more action-based-ish Doyle's Sherlock Holmes. If you are a really big fan of Agatha Christie, maybe you should watch it, if not, still watch it and discover how complex Agatha can make a plot be

shiroraven My friend took me to watch The Commuter exactly because he really liked the Taken series, haha. If you like him, the movie is quite a good watch. I see. Yeah, I would probably enjoy something crazier and more sinister like Holmes. I like Robert Downey's portrayal of Holmes, so I enjoyed the movies. I'm not familiar with Agatha Christie's novels, but her name is too big to ignore. Maybe I'll give the old adaptation a try. Have you seen that one?

Unfortunately not, my parents did tho XD, but if you'd like to watch an old adaptation of one of her works, I'd recommend the 1945 (way too old I know ) adaptation of "And Then There Were None", the ending is a bit different but it's still great IMO.

shiroraven Thanks for the recommendation. This sounds nasty, but I'm rather uncomfortable watching the old movies because of how.. old.. they are, lol. I guess I'm just too spoiled with the current technology and all that I won't touch the old ones unless I have a very strong reason to see it.

It's been like 2 years I went to the cinema. My close friends rarely want to watch a movie there cause it's expensive etc. My schedule is also messed up that it's hard for us to hang out (I woke up when they're at work, work when they're free or asleep).
I've known some people who don't mind hanging out all by themselves. I'm definitely not one of them. lol

Angel OMG 2 YEARS?! That's very long. Didn't you have any movie you wanted to see at the theater? I mean, watching there is a completely different experience compared to watching it on DVD at home or on the internet... But if that's not your thing, I can understand. I also don't go to theaters alone. Too weird for my taste. xD

Migi There hasn't been any good movie since 2015, imo... ;_; I agree that watching in the cinema is way different!
