If there is anything that gives me so much happiness other than music, it's food. When I'm happy, I eat. When I'm sad, I eat. LOL
What are your favorite ones? Which ones do you want to try?

I'm all about Japanese food! I really like sushi (maki is my fav), but sadly among all of my friends, only 1 can really eat them without wanting to puke. lol How about you, Migi?

Angel Nice to meet you, soulmate. Allow me to introduce myself. I love sushi so, so much. I didn't know that salmon is that beautiful. Salmon maki is definitely among my favorites, but I also enjoy some fusion rolls. I'd love anything with salmon in it, though. I used to hate salmon sashimi with a burning passion, but now that passion turns into a warm love. My parents hate sushi, but I'm glad to have friends who share similar feelings. I also like a few other Japanese food: Yoshinoya and Sukiya are great alternatives to McD or KFC, (curry) ramen is a heavenly food, okonomiyaki is fun, onigiri is love in a palm, matcha is out of this world. I'm not a fan of udon, though.

Angel Migi While we are talking about Japanese food, I always love ramen, curry, and katsu! Out of these, I eat ramen the most. I am always down to go out for some ramen, and am always on the look out for new restaurants.

kyuri Does it mean you like curry ramen the best? I love curry to death, but I'm not a big fan of curry udon, for example. Mostly because of the udon. I am also always tempted to try new Japanese restaurants and compare the menu. It's kinda fun hunting for the best Japanese food in town. XD

Migi Huh I just saw that you replied to me! But I'm laughing, if by chance we get to meet each other, we'll know where to go! There's one thing that I hate about "cheap" sushi in my country; the chef will add A LOT OF MAYONNAISE AND KETCHUP. It makes me want to puke. That's why I always save up so once I crave for some sushi, I'll eat it at a legit place. :3 I don't like okonimiyaki (or I haven't found a restaurant that serves it good). I love takoyaki. I LOVE MATCHA, I ALWAYS ORDER ONE OUT. I love snacking some edamame too.I'm also not really a fan of udon. I don't like noddles soup in general, but I don't mind eating curry udon. kyuri JAPANESE CURRY IS THE BEST AND I'M SO HAPPY THAT I FOUND THIS ONLINE SHOP THAT SELLS AN INSTANT MIX THAT TASTES GOOD! It's a bit expensive, but still cheaper than buying from a restaurant (minus the transport too hehe). People always tell me that I cook the best katsu and I love eating them since they're very easy to make!

Angel I have never considered edamame as a snack, lol, but I never tried it either. Maybe someday. LOL @ "cheap" sushi. So less filling but more sauce? It's like eating rice with mayonnaise and ketchup then. That's cheating! What is this curry instant mix you're talking about? Golden Curry? And you cook? Katsu, of all food? Just wow. Respect!

Migi What's amazing about edamame is that the restaurants sell them 3-5 times more expensive than if you buy them online. Seriously when I knew about the price gap, I immediately got my own and boil them with salt. Done. "Cheap" sushi is the kind that has mostly chicken or cheap fish as the filing (salmon is expensive). And yes I think it's disgusting to eat rice with mayonnaise/cheese. There's something called "pizza sushi" and it's just.............. why? I live only with my dad so I have to cook if I want to eat well! Making katsu is the easiest. Season your thin chicken breast/pork/beef/up to you > coat it with all purpose flour > dip it into beaten egg > coat it with panko > fry it for a couple of minutes on each side > done. :3 (anyway YES IT'S GOLDEN CURRY!)

Angel You buy vegetables online? That's quite unexpected. I never thought about it before. I mean, depending on the location you order it from, either they are already bad when they arrive (which means it's fresh and natural) or still in a good condition (which probably means it already has some preservatives added). I love pizza, I love sushi, but I don't think they are meant to be together. How do you explain pizza sushi, really? I see, pretty easy indeed! The ingredients are also easily accessible. I will give it a try someday. :3 With Golden Curry, everything becomes amazing. I'm so thankful for their curry blocks.

Migi Not all vegetables, ofc! But yeah a few times I bought edamame and some types of mushrooms that my local market doesn't sell; button and enoki. I use the same day delivery! I know some shops located in my city. I'll never buy fresh products from other towns because it can get spoiled in hours. When Gordon disapproves, you disapprove too.You can mix so many things with the breadcrumbs, not only salt and pepper. Try to add lemon zest, grated parmesan, or italian seasoning. Though it won't be your regular chicken katsu that you can eat with tonkatsu sauce. And yes, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the instant mix. It has 3 levels of spiciness too, so it's very flexible.
