'aimerrhythm' is a pseudonym Aimer used to credit herself when she writes the lyrics herself. It's a unique name and I really like it, although I don't get it why she has to use a different name. (Looks like singers often do this, though.)
Which ones are your favorite songs? Re:far hits so hard so close, but I also see how the AM series relate to her. I'm also impressed that she writes March of Time and ONE herself.

One of the reasons I love Aimer so much is because of how the songs seem personal to her. I love her songs, especially in sadder songs like Kyou Kara Omoide and Fuyu no Diamond. I also really love the lyrics in Re:Pray, the AM series (especially AM03:00), Brave Shine and my personal favorite, Believe Be:leave-the lyrics really hit close to home on that one.
Wonder if she'll ever try composing?

I agree on Believe Be:leave! It's such a strange title, but reading the lyrics and its translation makes more sense. "I believe, but you leave." That's so deep and a clever wordplay on her side. I'm currently impressed by the way she composed Kachou Fuugetsu. Looks like it's based on a Japanese proverb, but she changed it to her style and added music as part of the song theme. Once again, very clever. rina I'd love to see her composing a song as well! She has never done it, apparently. What kind of style do you think will suit her?

As far as composing goes, she could probably go back to her roots of another composer. She's grown so much in the last few years I wouldn't be too surprised if she tries her hand at it someday

If Aimer were to compose a song, I imagine that she would start with the style of Kataomoi. It's simple but fun and easy to listen to.

Oops, I originally had "go back to the roots of her piano-driven ballads or maybe work with another composer" but I must have accidentally deleted it when I was adding to it I would really like to see more songs like Kataomoi!

rina No problem, haha! Does Aimer play any musical instrument? I do think that she's best in acoustic setting, whether it's piano or guitar. That's why I mentioned Kataomoi. Which piano ballads do you think is her most personal style?

Migi I was thinking of something like Rokutousei no Yoru for piano, although I'd really like to hear more songs like Kataomoi that are kind of simple in composition but still highlight her voice.

rina Totally agree! Though I also feel like she may surprise us by making something like Dare ka, Umi wo. or us, haha. I wonder if she will use another pseudoname when she composes. Talking about her lyrics, though, has she ever talked about why she likes to use phrases like the hours and "say a little prayer for you and me"?

Migi I always saw it as a recurring motif, like with constellations and stars in her lyrics all the time. Re:far kind of seems like a sequel to Re:pray with the similar titles and the "say a little prayer for you and me" part. I really like the lyrics in both those songs though! I wonder if she'll ever do 5 AM to go with the others AM songs.
