I'm a bit late with this news, but here it goes: Based on the info on her official website, Aimer is going to have live events with a full orchestra backing her up. It will be held in Tokyo and Kyoto. This would be such a legendary performance! Too bad I can't afford to go Japan even though I would be having school holidays at that period. But please tell us how it went for those going!

Roz That's too bad, but hopefully one day you will get a chance like this again. My imagination is going wild for this one. I would totally die if I hear Aimer singing songs like Kachou Fuugetsu or Akane Sasu with a full orchestra. Imagine the feeeeeeels. What kind of songs do you think she would sing?

Migi Honestly there's so many songs that are possible with the full orchestra! There's a high probability of them doing songs from Sleepless Nights and DAWN albums. Songs like Rokutousei no Yoru, Kizuna and Dawn. Songs like Dare ka Umi wo and Us would be out of this world! There's definitely going to be a lot of Fate related songs, especially songs like Hana no Uta and broKen NIGHT. They especially have an orchestra feel to them. At least one song of Hiroyuki Sawano is definitely going to be performed. Songs like StarRingChild, RE:I AM and ninelie would work really well with an orchestra. As for a personal favorite, I would hope for her to perform more lesser known songs like tone and Mine. Here's a list of possible songs for the songs that I think would do great in the orchestra setting. Ooo, a full orchestra!!  Seems to be a trend lately with artists that I've listened to, haha. I'm really interested to see how they'll turn out, especially because many of Aimer's songs already have strings. And yeah, Rokutousei no Yoru Magic Blue Ver does come to mind when thinking "Orchestral Aimer", so I think there's a high probability of that song being performed! |

Roz Nice analysis! I would be interested to see how us, Brave Shine, or Dare ka Umi wo performed with an orchestra. These songs are complicated and require strong beats in my head. It's not that orchestra arrangement is bored or weak or anything, but they usually aim for more majestic feels than the band-like one. Westkana Talking about Kalafina? xD From some other artists I'm following, I think Kalafina is the one who performs the most with orchestra arrangement (or at least with strings since Kajiura Yuki really loves them).

Migi Actually, no, though they have been performing with a strong quartet live more or less since their first Budokan performances in 2015. The artists I'm talking about are Evanescence and My First Story XD

Migi Ahh, no worries! This past week they had an orchestral album come out but until that surfaces somewhere I'm in the same state as you, really wondering what it's gonna sound like XD Anyway, speaking of Kalafina/Kajiura, I think Hana no Uta also has a pretty good chance of being performed as it has those trademark Kajiura strings all over it XD
