janerudesu I remember reading an article about Takei Emi's wedding and pregnancy and how it backlashed on her. I know that she's an actress while LiSA is a singer, so they may have different contract terms and situations, but the article makes me look at Japanese entertainment policy as being pretty strict, especially for the popular female celebrities. As if they have to stay so pure and beautiful when they are still popular. As if they lose their worth if they have relationships or anything like that.

I'm not sure if this applies to LiSA because of the vast popularity difference, but I know the singer Yuuka Nanri (also known as FictionJunction Yuuka) got married with no problems. It does seem the Japanese entertainment industry is stricter in this regard though

Westkana I see, I must be jumping to assumptions then. I do think singers have it easier because they are selling their voices. Actresses are selling the looks and heavily idolized, so maybe the contract is stricter that way.

janerudesu Migi Westkana Seasonreaper Found this video while browsing YT: Good job picking oath sign and One Light for the duets. Turns out LiSA's voice is what One Light needs to maximize the potency of those beats and reach the climax. XD I don't mean the Kalafina girls don't nail it, I like the original song as it is, but this duet shows the strength (and weakness?) of Kalafina and LiSA.

angelbeat I agree with you about One Light, Wakana's voice just isn't powerful enough to carry the upper line in the chorus, which LiSA can with ease. Meanwhile her more or less cover of Kagayaku Sora no Shijima no wa (black butler II insert song) was pretty much terrible, as that's a quiet and reflective piece that her voice doesn't fit at all XD

angelbeat Nice finding! I also agree with you about LiSA and One Light. It becomes more powerful. On the other hand, Keiko singing that opening of oath sign sounds weird. I think she pulls her voice a bit too far. She should've sung it lighter like Hikaru did. However, Westkana I can imagine how LiSA sounds singing Kagayaku Sora wo Shijima ni wa and how she breaks the song, lol. That is the song where one has to pull her voice and LiSA is just not made for that. xD

angelbeat I really loved that cross stage. Tho it was kind of messy, their voices did not blend at some songs. I liked THIS ILLUSION the best, Wakana nailed it.
