So proud of Aimer!! I clicked immediately and voted for her even though I didn't know the Japanese at all, lol. Looks like we don't need to register, but can only vote once a day. I can't even vote for ONE OK ROCK in the other category. Let us know if there is any specific detail related to voting we should know wildthing

Voted for her right away. Namie Amuro might be hard to beat though since she is retiring soon. But Aimer being nominated is already enough to make me happy. Still, I hope she wins!

janerudesu I agree that it's a tough battle. I recognize Namie Amuro's name although I don't listen to her songs. But looking at the other names, like Utada Hikaru and Kyary, whose fanbases are bigger and have been around longer, I guess we shouldn't expect too much. Even being nominated is great enough for exposure. :3

Migi I agree. Still a privilege to be nominated alongside with these artists. I'm really happy with the amount of recognition Aimer has been receiving lately

janerudesu She has been very patient, that's why I think she deserves it. She debuted in 2011 but only got featured in popular series the past few years, from which she got more recognition. If she continues the great performance to 2018, she may lose this year, but next year she may be a strong contender against the other nominees

Migi Indeed she does. I think the tie-up with Fate UBW, the collab with Taka and Yojiro Noda really helped her a lot. Anisong is pretty niche too so I hope Music Station will invite her again next year!

janerudesu Yep. I hope gets invited to more Anisong concerts. The popular one I know around Asia is Anime Festival Asia (AFA). I think she was only invited once a few years ago? Her anisong collection is expanding and I'm sure many will be thrilled to get more chances to see her live.

Migi I agree! I hope Anisama will invite her some day. I've noticed she is targeting the mainstream market more lately. If I'm not mistaken, her most recent Music Station did not promote her as an anisong artist unlike LiSA, Nana Mizuki and Aoi Eir. More overseas appearances would also be nice.

janerudesu I think it's a good approach. It's true that the anime OST she sings become hits, but she also has her own songs popular enough to stand on their own. I forget what this Music Station is about, though.
