Western fans, rejoice! Anime Expo 2018 is going to be held at Los Angeles, USA this year. One of the included events is Anisong World Matsuri has confirmed Aimer's appearance! Other artists announced so far are Yuki Kajiura, May’n, and Sanketsu-girl Sayuri. Rade Hi there! Thanks for joining us. :3 Another member janerudesu is also from the Philippines, but she's not around much these days.  I do hope she will visit the Philippines someday! Maybe for another anime convention? Do you often have such event there?

I'm really excited!! Wish I could go, only I'm sort of on the exact other side of the country XD. I wonder if Aimer will sing Hana no Uta with Kajiura, since all of Kajiura's band members are going. Since other people from FictionJunction are already confirmed to be going with Kajiura (Kaori Oda, Yuriko Kaida, Joelle from Sound Horizon), it would be awesome if any of them sang in the background of it!

Migi Yeah we do have some events like that here as well. That's why I keep bugging some event organizers on facebook to invite her in my country hahaha! But oh well, they just seenzone me out haha I still keep trying tho til they notice

Westkana Ah that's too bad! But the expenses for traveling in the country is still less than traveling to Japan just to see Aimer? xD I bet she will sing Hana no Uta with Kajiura. I'm already pretty sure she will sing it even if it's only with a piano; after all, this is an anisong concert. All the more reason to do it when the composer comes with you. Rade I see, best of luck! Aimer has never come to my country either as far as I know, haha. Her popularity is increasing, so I hope that more will notice her soon. :3

I'm planning on going. I just need friends to go with but none of my friends listen to Aimer :/
Tickets are going on sale on 11 May at 6PM PDT!!!!
I'm so excited for this because I believe that this is going to be my only chance ever to see Aimer sing live XD

bluminosityDon't give up, I'm sure you can convince your friends, let them listen to a variety of her songs  I would love to go there with you, but I already planned 2 Tokyo trips, the next is in June, so that I can see Aimer in Bunkamura!

bluminosity I kind of agree with UnChild, maybe you can show them some of Aimer's songs? Also, the anisong event doesn't only feature Aimer. If they are familiar with anime then Kajiura Yuki should be a name they recognize.

I did get one of my friends to listen to Aimer but she seems busy so I don't think she has the time to take off for the trip. I'm also going to be at an anime convention right next to where the performances are going on so even after the concerts I'll be busy. UnChild I wish I could go to Japan. I'm still hoping I can go some day but enjoy the stay! I'll keep searching for people to go with. There's still time to find someone to go with so I won't give up!! |
