Another concert is coming up! FM802 SPECIAL LIVE Kiyo Bank presents an event called REQUESTAGE 2018. Several artists are invited to this event, namely Aimer, ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, [Alexandros], treep hype, and THE ORAL CIGARETTES. The event will take place at Osaka Castle Hall on April 28, 2018. Huh, Aimer performing with some Jrock bands! Can't say I've Listened to any of those bands in earnest though I've heard of all of them. I know Asian Kung-Fu Generation did the ERASED OP and The Oral Cigarettes the OP for Noragami 2nd Season, both of which were really good! I'm interested to see if there'll be any collabs

tsubagakure You should! Osaka Castle is also a great place to visit, so double the fun. Westkana Yeah, I'm also not too familiar with those groups. I do know the names, but never really tried their songs other than the anime OP/ED. I even skipped the OP/ED of the ones you mentioned, haha. I wonder if she's going to join their rock songs or choose a relatively slow one for collaboration like she did with ONE OK ROCK.

Oral Cigarettes, yea only know them from noragami, Asian Kung-Fu Generation has some pretty cool songs from Naruto and FMA and some i can't remember. The other bands i never heard of ( maybe). Aimer joining their rock songs? wow this will be intense, AKG songs usually are very fast and AKG vocalist loves to scream, haha. Aimer-san, please, don't exaggerate.  (Choose the slow songs ) This will be interesting, i wish i could be there. |

veiko I'm pretty sure Aimer won't scream since that's not her style at all, haha. I do kinda want to see her challenge herself with fast-paced songs. I mean, 'us' is amazing when performed live, so she has the vocal ability to do it, but maybe she's just not used to singing that kind of song. (And yes half of me don't want her to abuse the vocal cord as well, so...) The ticket is pretty expensive though I think that's normal for Aimer's events. :x

Migi Her live performance of 'us' was sooo good, i'd personally say that sometimes the live version was better than the studio version. She does have some fast songs right? like 'hz' and 'two face'and these songs feels so right with her voice. Aimer got this (still worried...) About the tickets, yea i've heard it's quite expensive, but i can't go there anyway so...

veiko Yep, I agree that Aimer has some fast-paced songs, but other than the pace I think the song is relatively easy. I mean it's not as crazy as what we usually think when we hear the word "rock songs", lol.

us isn't really hard because of its tempo, but it is hard because of its rhythms, time signature changes (between 3/4 & 4/4), and ENORMOUS range, spanning from Ab3 all the way up to Ab5 (The first two are pretty much Ling Tosite Sigure™ though XD) That said, you guys are right in that her songs pretty much aren't fast, especially compared to Jrock artists XD. I'm interested to see what happens, it'll be cool if we hear her in a different genre, as long as she doesn't push herself too hard ^w^
